As discussed in the previous article, I shed lights on how much Al-Sadd and Al-Duhail held over monopolizing the QNB Stars League title for several years, It is no wonder, then, that the play-off teams will not be able to compete and win the championship title. IN this article, I will focus on the most important reasons that led to this “duopoly”, which is that some club administrations give up their distinguished players, especially the young ones, and provide them for both Al-Sadd and Al-Duhail, as they are not (forced) to do so. Also, one of the most important reasons for this Al-Duhail/Al-Sadd monopoly is the unsuccessful choices of professional players sought by some clubs administrators seeking to build successful.
Here in particular, I would like to emphasize that I am not one of those who attribute the reason for this poor “selection” or, “nomination” of professional players due to the lack of a financial budget that allows possibly contracting with players of a high technical level. This is because I see that the nomination process for high ranking players, prior you reach the stage of contracting financially, it essentially needs a high technical vision that makes one able to choose the appropriate professional player -from a technical view and according to the team’s needs. Through our follow-up to the clubs’ choices seeking to strengthen their ranking, we found that some of the club administrations argue that they have a very limited budget ceiling or meager budget, which led to the selection of sub-standard players required. Others administrations, we found that they have paid very large sums of money to players who did not provide what is commensurate with those financially large contracts for the clubs benefits. When a good technical vision is available, even in light of a relatively lack of financial resources, the club can achieve One of the key responsibilities of a tech lead or architect is to ensure there is a shared understanding of where the team is heading or at least the required balance between these two parts with an expert eye capable of making a good choice. It is not secret to everyone that the African continent is full of distinguished players and at prices that are accessible to everyone. In this regard, the Egyptian, KSA clubs and others are good proof of this idea. just as France, with all its great football history, finds that
Africa is a highly superstitious continent many African teams depend on players for success, where the Explorers tour the countries of Africa and select unknown but talented players who are used in various French clubs and even some have been granted nationality and play for the France national team. To wrap up this issue, some of our club management switching mentality-if not most- suffers a shortage of technical experts in the procedures and processes used in the selection of prospective foreign professional’s football players.
