في ليلة لا تُنسى عاشتها جماهير الزمالك المصري في مدرجات استاد القاهرة، قاد القائد محمود عبدالرازق "شيكابالا" مشاهد الاحتفال بلقب كأس مصر، مستحضرًا روح الأبيض الخالدة عندما اصطحب نجم النادي السابق حازم إمام إلى أرضية الميدان، لتشارك الجماهير لحظات المجد والفرح. ولم تكتمل صورة الفرح إلا بظهور أحمد حسام "ميدو"، عضو لجنة التخطيط، الذي احتضن شيكابالا وسط أجواء حماسية مشحونة بالعاطفة، ليتوحد الجيل الذهبي للقلعة البيضاء في مشهدٍ لخص حب الانتماء والتاريخ العريق للزمالك. وجاء التتويج بالبطولة بعد مباراة ماراثونية أمام بيراميدز، امتدت حتى ركلات الترجيح، إثر التعادل الإيجابي 1-1 في الوقت الأصلي. تقدم بيراميدز بهدف أحمد عاطف "قطة" في الدقيقة 29، قبل أن يعيد ناصر منسي الأمل للزمالك بهدف التعادل في الدقيقة 78، ليحمل اللقاء إلى مشهد درامي على مستوى الأعصاب. وفي النهاية، ابتسمت ركلات الحظ للفارس الأبيض، ليُضيف بطولة جديدة إلى خزائنه، وسط أجواء احتفالية اختلطت فيها الدموع بالهتافات، وامتزج التاريخ بالحاضر في مشهدٍ سيبقى محفورًا في ذاكرة عشاق النادي.
