Argentina drew with Ecuador in continued 2022 World Cup Qualification CONMEBOL zone, when Ecuador snatched a valuable 1-1 draw with its guest, Argentina this morning, Wednesday, at Isidro Romero Carbo stadium, as part of the eighteenth and last round of the South American qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup. Argentina extended their unbeaten as they drew 1-1 with Ecuador at the Estadio Monumental Banco Pichincha in Guayaquil in a match for the 2022 South American World Cup Qualifiers. The Brazilian national football team maintained its streak in South American qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, with a decisive victory 4-0 over host Bolivia on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning GMT) in the final eighteenth round of qualifying.  Lucas Paquetá Lucas Paqueta, the attacking midfielder of Lyon France scored Brazil's first goal against Bolivia, in the 24th minute of the match, while Richarlison added the second goal of the Seleção team in the 45th minute of the match.  Bruno strengthened the Brazilian’s lead by scoring the third goal in the 66th minute, as Richarlison concluded the Seleção the fourth in the first minute of the extra added time. 

England strolled to a 3-0 victory against Ivory Coast (Cote d'Ivoire) at Wembley on Tuesday thanks to goals from Ollie Watkins, Raheem Sterling and Tyrone Mings - as well as a red card. England comfortably defeated Ivory Coast 3 clean scores in a friendly international match. The Three Lions were hoping to be challenged by their guests ahead of the World Cup - just as they were in their 2-1 victory against Switzerland on Saturday - but the game was a breeze after Serge Aurier was dismissed in the 40th minute.England scored a double in the first half of the match, through Aston Villa striker Oli Watkins in the 30th minute, and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling who added the second goal in the 45th minute. 

Netherlands aces tied with Germany (1-1) in a friendly preparation for the Qatar 2022 World Cup and broke the streak of coach Hans Dieter Flickwho had won all eight games played since taking charge of the German team. The Netherlands and Germany could not pull out the win in a game that had both teams dominating for two periods, Germany dominated the first half playing in the opponent's area and took the lead in the scoreboard, for the second half the Netherlands adjusted and dominated until they scored the tie.

Italy washes away the sorrows of the World Cup exit

Barcelona and Real Madrid could battle it out for Arsenal's Scottish international defender Kieran Tierney this summer Mercato. The 24-year-old defender has impressed Real’s scouts when they were initially sent over to check on Bukayo Saka, while Barcelona are also interested in the player. The Sun reports that a £50 million offer could be made, and Arsenal would be willing to do a deal at the right price. Ancelotti reportedly tried to sign Tierney in 2019, when he was in charge of Napoli coaching, but eventually decided to sign for Arsenal, arriving from Celtic. However, Football London reports that Ancelotti is expected to try again for Tierney this summer, but will have to fend off competition from Xavi. Barcelona is expected to make a bid of 50 million pounds that will come from the Spanish capital, Terni, and the Catalan club will also have to comply with La Liga, which is already concerned about Barcelona's financial situation. 

Vietnam concluded their journey at the World Cup qualifiers Tuesday with a surprising 1-1 draw against hosts Japan on their home ground at "Saitama 2002" stadium, as part of the 10th and final round of the second group of Asian qualifiers for FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.The visitors Vietnam successfully hold off Japan at their home ground and concluded their journey at the World Cup qualifiers with four points after 10 games. Vietnam made their first goal in the 19th minute of the match, through Nguyen Thann Binh. While in the second half, Maya Yoshida scored the equalizer for the Japanese team in the 55th minute of the match. Japan strengthened the lead in Group B with 22 points, only two points ahead of Saudi Arabia, which is ranked second with 20, which will face Australia this evening, now stands on the third with 15 points.

Press reports revealed that the Russian Football Union is considering switching from the European Football Association the Union of European Football Associations – UEFA to its counterpart the Asian Confederation, to escape the ban imposed on teams and clubs from participating in competitions, against the backdrop of the Russian war against Ukraine.FIFA and UEFA have announced that Russian clubs and national teams are suspended in all their football competitions until further notice, after the military operations carried out by the Russian forces against Ukraine since last February.
