De Bruyne won Man City's Etihad player of the season 

Kevin De Bruyne has been named as Etihad Player of the Season for the fourth time – equalling Richard Dunne’s Club record haul in the process. De Bruyne contributed to Manchester City's crowning the English Premier League title by defeating Aston Villa 3-2, during the clash on Sunday at "Al Ittihad" stadium, in the last round of the Premier League.
Man City announced that De Bruyne had been crowned player of the season for the fourth time in his career with the Citizens, equaling the record set by the club registered in the name of Richard Dunn. Kevin De Bruyne became the fourth different Manchester City player to take home the club's in-house Player of the Month award this season, as he took home the first edition in 2022.
De Bruyne won first place in the fans' vote for the best player in the ranks of Manchester City in the current season 2021-2022, edging Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva.
