Juventus reports a negative figure in the Champions League

  Juventus' Champions League run came to a premature end on Tuesday as the Italian club was eliminated from contention for the knockout stage; while Benfica reached the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday after winning an exciting contest with Juventus 4-3 and sending the Italians out of the competition. Juventus' balance stopped at 3 points in third place in Group H, while the French PSG and Benfica of Portugal qualified for the round of 16. Benfica is level on 11 points with leaders Paris Saint-Germain and have a chance to top the group next week, although they would need Juve to get a result against the French champions in Turin after being dumped out at the group stage for the first time in nine years. "Opta" statistics network revealed that Juventus failed to qualify for the playoffs of the Champions League for the first time since the 2013-2014 season and that the team achieved the lowest number of points during its history in the group stage with 3 points. In the sixth and final round of the group stage, Juventus will try to face up to its guest, Paris Saint-Germain to ensure its qualification to the European League.

Messi sets new Champions League records

Aubameyang scored in the Champions League for the first time in 5 years!

UEFA considering plans to replace the European Super Cup to 4 teams

UK sport press reports revealed that Europe’s organizing football body UEFA wants to organize a tournament with an invitee from a singular North American league, Major League Soccer which is supposed to change the format and system of the competition in the coming time. According to the UK “The Guardian” newspaper, the tournament would consist of four teams in a similar format to that of the Spanish Supercup currently. The invited teams would consist of the winners of the Champions League, Europa League, the Europa Conference League, and MLS. The source indicated that UEFA is considering plans to replace the European Supercup with a new four-team tournament and could invitee from a singular North American league, Major League Soccer, as they seek to increase their income. After Barcelona's double, Bayern equals Madrid's Records in the Champions League

Bayern Munich Germany's record champions have not lost in 30 group games in Europe's most prestigious club competition. It's an achievement matched only by Real Madrid (2012 to 2017). Bayern has recorded 27 wins in that time, whilst drawing three, and have now won their last nine group matches in a row - seven clean sheets among them. Barcelona and Bayern Munich will meet in the group stage of this year’s UEFA Champions League in what promises to be a mouth-watering clash. Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez confirmed his squad list for the Champions League group stage match against Bayern Munich, scheduled for Tuesday at the Allianz Arena, in the second round of Group C of the Champions League. Barcelona's squad list for the match in Munich has been released, including all the stars of the team, after the return of Serge Roberto, who missed the match against Cadiz on Saturday, in the fifth round of the Spanish League. Barcelona continued their unbeaten start to the season and have won a fourth La Liga game in a row thanks to a 4-0 victory over bottom-of-the-table Càdiz at the Nuevo Mirandilla on Saturday.  Barcelona beat Viktoria on their debut, with Lewandoski's hat-trick and a great performance by Dembélé. The Catalan FC had won a broad victory over its guest, the Czech team Victoria Plzen 5-1.
