Barça surrenders with Dembele's departure

Spanish press reports revealed that Barcelona FC surrendered to the departure of French winger Ousmane Dembele during the summer transfer market and will not increase their offer, in light of the great difficulties the Administration faces in order to renew the player's contract, especially since his current contract expires this summer.
According to “Mundo Deportivo” newspaper, Barca is despairing of the process of renewing the contract of Ousmane Dembele, especially after the last meeting with his agent, Moussa Sissoko, in light of the great financial demands of his agent, which makes it difficult to reach an agreement about his stay with the team during the coming period.
The newspaper added that the difficulty of Barca's negotiations with the French player will facilitate the task of Paris Saint-Germain in obtaining Dembele, especially since the Parisian club wants to sign him in order to compensate for the Argentine star Angel Di Maria.
Dembele joined Barcelona in the summer of 2017 coming from Borussia Dortmund, to compensate for the departure of Brazilian star Neymar to PSG. Paris Saint-Germain signed Neymar in 2017 by paying the 222 million euros that were stipulated as a termination clause in his contract with FC Barcelona.
