Spanish referee Antonio Lahoz has taken charge of the UEFA Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea. Antonio Miguel Mateu is a Spanish association football referee who has refereed La Liga matches since 2008.The winner of the Saudi King's Cup will receive 10 million riyals, in addition to direct qualification to the Asian Champions League, as the King's Cup runner-up gets an amount of 4 million Saudi riyals. Al-Fayha’ scored an unprecedented achievement by reaching the King’s Cup final in football for the first time in its history, after defeating Al-Ittihad with a clean goal scored by Muhammad Abu Saban, while Al-Hilal defeated Al-Shabab 2-1. Al-Hilal aims to win the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for the tenth time in its history, while Al-Fayhaa has never won the title before. After proven taking steroids: Anti-Doping suspends Fahd Al-Mawlid for 18 months

The Saudi Anti-Doping Committee suspended the Saudi international, Fahd Al-Mawlid, a player from the Saudi Federation of Jeddah, for 18 months, after it was proven that he had taken steroids. The Doping Committee decided to officially ban the brown leopard for 18 months, after investigating him, and it was confirmed that he had used Furosemide, a substance banned in sports and outside sports, according to the World Anti-Doping Agency. The sample was taken from the player before his team's match against Al-Fayhaa in the semi-finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, which Al-Ittihad Jeddah lost 0-1 to bid farewell to the tournament. As of next season: Saudi FA raises the number of foreign players in a squad to 8

The Saudi Football Association announced the increase in the number of clubs participating in the Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League to 18, starting from the 2023-2024 sports season, while raising the number of foreign players to 8. The Saudi Football Association sent a letter to the league clubs regarding the number of foreign players next season. The Saudi newspaper, Al-Jazirah, confirmed that the Saudi Football Association informed the teams that the number of foreigners in the next season is 8 players, including 7 in the main list, noting that in the first division, the number of foreign players will be 6, with the option of replacing one of the seats with a born player. The news added, that only 4 foreign players will be available in the second division, with the option to replace one of the seats with a born player. It is noteworthy that the number of foreign players in the current season is estimated at 7, but it has been increased for the next season to 8 based on the consensus of the league clubs.

March 8 set as the date of Al Hilal vs. Al-Ittihad Classico in the Saudi League 

The Competitions Committee of the Al Hilal Professional Clubs Association set the date for the Saudi Arabia’s arch-rivals Al Hilal and Al Ittihad Jeddah will face each other when they meet in their postponed match from the 12th round of the Saudi competition. Saudi Arabia General Authority for Competition announced the new date of Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal match, which will be held at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, in a postponed encounter from the 12th round of the Saudi Professional League to be palyed on the 8th of next March.
