Antonio Conte refuses to commit his future to Tottenham

Antonio Conte has refused to commit his future to Tottenham Hotspur, despite leading the club into the Champions League on the final day of the Premier League season. Conte has refused to confirm he will stay on as Tottenham's head coach despite securing Champions League football next season, citing a need for talks with the club's hierarchy over their summer plans.
Spurs sealed the fourth spot with a 5-0 win at relegated Norwich City on the Premier League's final day as a brace each from Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-Min in addition to Harry Kane's first-half header ensured they finished in fourth place, above north London rivals Arsenal.
Tottenham beat Norwich City 5-0 at Carrow Road, ensuring they edged north London rivals Arsenal in the race for fourth place.
Conte said later he has “a lot of emotions” after the season and that he will rest for four or five days before meeting with the club to find a “solution” to his future.
Tottenham was ninth in the league table when the Italian coach took over as coach last November and then became seven points behind the fourth-placed when the team lost to Burnley last February, but the team managed to overtake Arsenal, Manchester United, and West Important in the standings table after winning ten of the next 14 matches to bring the team to fourth place.
Speaking after the Norwich win, Conte said: “Now I think for me, the club and the players it’s good to have three, four, five days of rest and then the mind will be very clear.
“Then you can consider the whole season. I think you have to be very calm before talking. Now, there are a lot of emotions in my mind, my heart, for me, for the club and for everybody.
“For this reason, it’ll be very good to rest for four or five days and then have a good meeting with the club to find the best possible solution.”
Later, the head coach told Sky Sports that finishing fourth is one of the best achievements of his career: “I have to be honest; I think it (finishing fourth) is one of the most important achievements in my career.
“Sometimes, it’s not only when you lift a trophy to be satisfied, I think we reached the maximum level that we dreamed of in November because then the situation was not so good for many reasons. The club changed the coach and with injuries, we tried to find a good solution
