Barcelona stopped selling Lewandowski shirts because the jersey is out of the letter (W)

The Barcelona store has decided to stop sales of a newcomer from Bayern Munich Polish striker Robert Lewandowski’s shirts because they have run out of the letter 'W' in the club's main store at the Camp Nou stadium. The Spanish newspaper indicated that Barcelona will work to solve this issue quickly, Thursday, so Lewandowski's shirts will be reprinted in the coming days. The Polish striker moved from Bayern Munich to Barcelona this summer for a total of 45 million + 5 million euros in variables. Lewandowski is currently on Barcelona tour in the USA, but he did not appear in Barcelona's friendly win over Inter Miami 6-0, in the early hours of Wednesday.

Official: Paulo Dybala joins Roma on a free transfer until 2025

The Italian club Roma announced on Wednesday that has completed the signing of free agent Paulo Dybala who joins the capital club in 2025. The deal comes on a 3-year contract, during the current summer Mercato, in a free transfer deal after the end of his contract with his former club, Juventus. Italian press reports revealed that Dybala will receive a net worth of about 6 million euros per season, including additions, with the option to extend for a fourth year, and will wear the number 21 shirt. The Portuguese manager, Jose Mourinho of the Wolves, played a major role in persuading Dybala to join the club, after communicating by phone, before moving, and he would be an exciting addition to the team in the Italian capital. Dybala recently spent seven years with Juventus, from 2015 to 2022. Dybala made 293 appearances in all competitions, scoring 115 goals and providing 48 assists.

Barcelona beats Inter Miami in Preseason Friendly in the USA 

The Spanish giants ran riot when they took on David Beckham’s Inter Miami in a friendly game in the USA. Barcelona crushed its American counterpart, Inter Miami, owned by former English star David Beckham, 6-0, in a friendly match that brought them together in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, at “Ricardo Silva” stadium, in the American city of Miami, as part of Barca’s preparations for the new season. Barcelona ended the first half of the match with a 3-0 lead, scored by Gabonese star Pierre Emeric Aubameyang, and newcomer Rafinha and Ansu Fati, in the 19th, 25th, and 41st minutes of the match. In the second half, Barca added another triple through Gavi, Memphis Depay, and Osman Dembele in the 55th, 69th, and 70th minutes of the match. The match witnessed the absence of the Catalan coach, Xavi Hernandez, due to problems with his travel papers, which prevented him from being in the Inter Miami match. Barcelona will play its second match in its camp tour in the United States of America against its arch-rivals Real Madrid, next Sunday morning.

Atletico Madrid to rename stadium Civitas Metropolitano under the new deal

La Liga club Atlético de Madrid has announced a new naming-rights partnership with Spanish real estate firm Civitas Pacensis following the club's previous stadium deal with Wanda expiring earlier this summer, according to LIBERTAD DIGITAL. Under the new deal, the name of the club's home will change from Wanda Metropolitano to Civitas Metropolitano. During the announcement of the new naming-rights deal, Atletico also revealed new information about its plans for a training facility next to the stadium. The club's partnership with Civitas will include collaboration on the construction of the new facility, and it is believed that the deal is worth around €10M ($10.25M) per year Chinese conglomerate Wanda provided a key funding injection to finance Atletico’s historic move to the arena at the start of 2017/18, from their previous home at the Estadio Ramon Vicente Calderon. Alongside the announcement on July 19, Atletico will also update their plans for the Ciudad Deportiva project outside their home ground in the surrounding Canillejas area. Atletico has already unveiled their new home and away kits for the 2022/23 season with cryptocurrency firm Whale Finn confirmed as the shirt sponsor for the upcoming campaign.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed the departure of Ukrainian left-back Alexander Zinchenko to Arsenal this summer. Because of Man United, Ronaldo Lost £1m Last Season 

English press reports revealed that Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo lost three of the bonus items he was supposed to receive with Manchester United worth one million pounds over the course of last season. The Red Devils signed Ronaldo last summer for 12.5 million pounds from Juventus, and the Portuguese agreed to a contract that gives him a wage of 475,000 pounds per week. This comes at a time when Ronaldo was earning £900,000 a week with Juventus, and according to the Daily, Star United has tried to make up for that somewhat, by including three lucrative bonus clauses in his contract. The Portuguese were due to receive a £1m bonus if he led Manchester United to qualification for the Champions League last season, but that did not happen, as Old Trafford could only finish sixth.
