Diego Costa set for sensational Premier League return with Wolverhampton "Wolves"
Spanish footballer Diego Costa is expected to make a return to Premier League as Wolves are reportedly considering a move to sign the striker. Costa is currently a free agent and it will not be a problem for Wolves to sign him outside the transfer window. The former Chelsea striker has been a free agent since January 2022. He had last featured for Brazilian football club Atletico Mineiro. The 33-year-old has been without a club since leaving Mineiro in January and so could join the English side outside the transfer window as a free agent. Fabrizio Romano, the famous Football expert on transfer news stated on his “Twitter”, that there is a preliminary agreement between Wolverhampton and Costa to move to the Premier League. Fabrizio Romano added that the Spanish striker is scheduled to be in England during the next few hours in order to undergo a medical examination before the final announcement of the deal. Wolves are considering a move for former Chelsea striker Diego Costa with new summer signing Sasa Kalajdzic set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a cruciate ligament injury on debut in the victory over Southampton.
