Aubameyang could reportedly miss Barcelona for more than a month with a jaw injury

Spanish press reports revealed that Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was attacked and robbed at his home by four people wearing masks, club officials have confirmed on Monday. The Spanish giants have said that he and his wife had been threatened with guns and iron bars but, despite the robbery, they are both doing well. According to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero on Twitter,  Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may have suffered a broken jaw after being attacked at home in an armed robbery and will be out for a period of 4 to 5 weeks. Spanish newspapers said both the player and his wife Alysha Behague suffered minor injuries. Aubameyang, 33, has not confirmed any details of the robbery. It is the second time in the last two months that Aubameyang’s home in Castelldefels, a suburb in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, has been burgled, although the player and his family were not at home during the first break-in, police said. According to media reports, four hooded men broke into his home on Monday and threatened the player and his family with firearms. They struck Aubameyang and his wife and forced them to open a safe in order to steal jewelry.
