Guardiola: "We have super strikers, Haaland wants titles over records"

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has lauded Erling Haaland and says he will not be content with breaking Premier League records if he doesn't back them up with titles, as the striker scored a second successive hat-trick for Manchester City in the win over Nottingham Forest 6-0 on Wednesday at Etihad Stadium in the fifth round of the English Premier League. Haaland scored a perfect hat-trick inside 38 minutes to make history as Manchester City crushed Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium."What he has done in Norway, Austria, and Germany he tries to do here," Guardiola said. "The first ball contact, he scores a goal. We knew it. Julian as well, we have incredible strikers.
"He always scores goals. He is stoppable when we don’t play well. We try to play in a decent way for the fact that we create opportunities for our talented players up front to score goals. “The most important thing when the two players arrive we conceive how they adapt with other teammates in City and the dressing room, but match after the other they will be better, in the real world we want everything to happen immediately, but sometimes you need time to be calm,” Guardiola added. Manchester City raised its score to 13 points in second place in the English Premier League standings for the current season.
