Sadio Mane: Bayern Munich's approach is similar to Liverpool

Senegalese star Sadio Mane,  the striker of Bayern Munich, in an interview with the German newspaper "Bild", talks about his move to Bayern Munich . Mane has admitted as soon as he has heard about the interest from Bayern Munich, his heart was set on the move. Mane has revealed that Bayern’s approach was too difficult to reject and the idea of playing for another European heavyweight was the kind of project he jumped at the chance of being involved in. "When my agent first told me about Bayern's interest, I was immediately excited,” Mane told BILD. “I saw myself there right away. “It's one of the biggest clubs in the world and the team is always fighting for every title. So for me it was a very good idea and the right decision to come here. "My agent told me that there were inquiries from other clubs. That's part of the business. But I got the feeling right away when Bayern presented their plan to me. I found myself in Bayern's plan more than anyone else." Sadio Mane has played 269 games with Liverpool since the 2016-2017 season, when he joined the Reds from Southampton, before starting a new journey with Bayern Munich from the new season 2022-2023. Mane scored 120 goals in Liverpool and assisted 38 goals. He was crowned with six diverse titles, "EPL, UEFA, the Club World Cup, the Charity Shield, the FA Cup, and the Professional League Cup."

Xavi: 4 players are banned from entering Barcelona!

There is a lot of talk about Mercato Barcelona this summer, however, there are many within the team who are close to exiting the club. Coach Xavi Hernandez confirmed in his last post-match press conference this season that several players have been informed that they may leave the club. But with pre-season looming, starting on Monday, July 4, 2022, there were few players leaving the club. The group in focus consists of includes Oscar Mingueza, Ricky Puig, Samuel Umtiti, and Martin Braithwaite, and according to Mundo Deportivo, Xavi and the club have informed these players that they do not need to attend training sessions. As such, they may not be called up for the Barcelona tour in the US later in July. Braithwaite's case is a little different in that he won't be back with the squad until later, due to his international commitments in early June. It is likely that this will be the last step to convince the players concerned that a better future awaits them away from the Camp Nou, as we've seen with the likes of Philippe Coutinho.
