245 days passed since Federico suffered a cruciate ligament rupture, still not ready to return to action!

The 24-year-old Italian winger, who played a crucial role in Italy’s Euro 2020 win last year, suffered a serious knee injury during a 4-3 win over Roma on January 9, essentially sidelining him for the rest of the year. Juventus initially suggested that Chiesa would be out for around seven months, but clearly, this estimation was a little hopeful. Juventus initially announced that Chiesa would be out for about seven months, but that was clearly under-estimate. As detailed by La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Chiesa was confident of returning during the latter stages of the summer break, but things changed after a training session in August. The 24-year-old pushed himself too much and his knee swelled, forcing him to slow down and return to the doctor’s office.  The former Fiorentina man is now training individually in Turin, working carefully in order to avoid any more setbacks. Massimiliano Allegri and Juventus hope to have him available for a cameo appearance or two at least by the end of October, wanting him fully fit by the time Serie A returns in January after the World Cup.

“I’m Not Afraid Of Being Sacked,  accept responsibility for Liverpool's last-gasp defeat to Napoli” – Klopp

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he’s not afraid of being sacked by the Reds board after the team’s 4-1 loss to Napoli in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening, in the first round of the group stage of the Champions League for the current season. Speaking post-game, he stated on his own job after Tuchel’s firing: “Not really, but who knows? “That’s how they always saw it, on the day that they change their thoughts they might tell me.” "Really tough to take, it's not that difficult to explain when you watched the game. To start with the two penalties, okay first of all Napoli played a really good game, we didn't, that is the first explanation for the defeat," the German told media representatives. "Again, the problem is not the advanced defense but rather the lack of pressure on the opponent, today I saw the most undisciplined and organized performance in a very, very long time," the Liverpool coach explained. Klopp continued his statements about the heavy defeat, saying, "We have to be clear, but I need some time to say the right things for the team. Napoli was good, but we made it easier for them, lost the balls, and gave them counter-attacks."
