100,000 people are complaining about Infantino

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has suffered another blow after the number of people who have signed a complaint against him surpassed 100,000. The campaign formally submitted its complaint to FIFA's Ethics Committee on Tuesday, and the human rights organization FairSquare, which supports the campaign, called on the committee to open an investigation into the allegations against Infantino. FairSquare stated in a letter: "The fact that 100,000 people have put their names on this call for accountability is clear evidence of growing public concern." The complaint accuses Infantino of abusing his position, breaching his duty of political neutrality, and violating his duty of loyalty. It also raises questions about his relationship with Trump and FIFA's handling of several controversial issues. This comes at a time of increasing pressure on Infantino, who has announced his intention to run for another term as FIFA president in the elections scheduled for 2027.
