Morocco dominates the best awards at the FIFA U-20 World Cup

Moroccan winger Othman Maama was named the best player at the FIFA U-20 World Cup, following a dazzling performance from the opening group match against Spain. Maama proved his worth in the final, setting up Yasser Zabiri's second goal, bringing his tally to four assists, three of which came in the knockout stages, in addition to his one goal against Brazil. Final hero Yasser Zabiri was named second best player of the tournament, scoring twice against Argentina to take his tally to five goals, a joint top scorer alongside American Benjamin Cremachi, Colombian Nacer Villarreal, and Frenchman Lucas Michel. The third best player award went to Argentina's Milton Delgado, who shone in midfield and provided two assists against Australia and Nigeria. Meanwhile, Argentina's Santino Barbi won the Golden Glove award for best goalkeeper of the tournament, despite his disappointment in the final, conceding two goals for the first time in his World Cup career.
