Public Auction For The Brazilian World Cup Final Ball

One of the final match balls for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil is scheduled to be put up for auction, with a value ranging between 40 and 60 thousand euros, according to what was confirmed by the Am Gruenwald Auction House in Berlin. The match ended with the German team defeating its Argentine counterpart 1-0 and winning the World Cup title. The auction to sell the ball will be held next June 28 after obtaining a permit from the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA). Mario Götze scored the winning goal for Germany in the 113th minute, leading his country to win its fourth World Cup title at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. The rest of the balls that were used in the final match of the World Cup on July 13, 2014, are displayed at the German Football Museum in Dortmund.
