FIFA Launches A New Digital Feature And Tool

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced the launch of a new digital feature and tool that includes a list of the names of clubs subject to a ban on registering any player due to crises and legal problems. FIFA stated on its official website that, in line with its ongoing efforts to raise the level of transparency and full disclosure of data related to its judicial bodies, a new digital tool has been launched that includes a list of the names of clubs subject to the registration ban. He added: “According to the legal structure of FIFA, the registration ban represents one of the possible disciplinary measures that its judicial bodies or the Football Court can impose on clubs according to the legal framework in force at FIFA.” He explained, "If a registration ban is imposed on a club, this club will be prevented from registering any new player, whether at the national or international level, and whether the players in question are amateurs or professionals, for the duration of the period covered by this procedure." He continued, "The club will not be able to register any new players until after the entire ban period has expired or if the FIFA administration lifts the ban, which is something that usually happens when the club implements one or more measures." FIFA stressed, “The main goal of this new tool is to provide all concerned parties, especially players, clubs and fans, with a list of all clubs currently prohibited from registering new players.”
