The Iranian Taremi bicycle kick voted UEFA.com Goal of Season

UEFA, the Union of European Football Associations, announced the Iranian Mehdi Taremi's sensational bicycle kick for Porto against Chelsea has been voted UEFA.com Goal of the Season for 2020/21.
UEFA's choice of Taremi's sensational effort came deep into added time of the teams' UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg, though it was not enough to prevent Porto from being eliminated by the eventual winners.
Nanu whipped in yet another hopeful cross into the Chelsea area itching to spark the game into life. And just as the clock ticked over to 93 minutes – with just one minute of added still time to play – Taremi unleash an audacious, unstoppable overhead kick into the top corner.
The forward – who became the first Iranian to score in a Champions League quarter-final – seemed to hang in the air as he showed off his unreal athleticism.
It is noteworthy that Chelsea managed to win the Champions League last season, for the second time in its history, after defeating Manchester City with a clean goal.
