Despite the five goals, Flick reveals Barcelona's most important objective

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick emphasized that winning titles remains the Catalan club's primary objective, despite equaling the record for the best start in La Liga history. He praised his players' performance against Real Betis. Barcelona secured a resounding 5-2 victory over their hosts in the ninth round of La Liga, showcasing their attacking prowess and impressive play throughout the match. Speaking at the post-match press conference, Flick addressed the record-equalling start, stating, "It's a good thing, but we have to win titles. Our focus is solely on winning trophies." The German coach added, "We have to wait until the end of the season to see if we can lift any trophies. Setting records is great, but our team's mentality is based on winning titles." Flick also expressed his admiration for Lamine Yamal's performance, explaining that he made a point of speaking to the young player after substituting him, telling him he was extremely proud of his outstanding performance. Regarding the team's overall performance, Flick emphasized that Barcelona successfully controlled the game, noting that the players' performance reflected the style the coaching staff is trying to instill in the team. He explained, "I think we managed to control the game well again, and that's the way we want to play football. We scored goals, and our players kept running for 90 minutes; they did a fantastic job." Flick concluded by acknowledging the difficulty of the match, saying, "It wasn't an easy game, and we knew that even before it started. We expected a match like this. In the end, we played very well, and I think we deserved the victory."
