Maresca makes history with City in the Premier League

Italian Enzo Maresca, the Manchester City manager, made Premier League history by becoming the first manager in the competition's history to win his first seven matches with his team, an exceptional start to his tenure with the Sky Blues. Maresca took over from Spaniard Pep Guardiola, who decided to leave his post after nearly 10 years at the helm, leaving the Italian coach with the challenging task of continuing the success achieved by his predecessor. Manchester City's management proved their choice in appointing Maresca was a wise one, as the Italian coach achieved a perfect record in his first seven Premier League matches, making him the manager with the best start in the competition's history in terms of consecutive wins in his first games with his team. This achievement reflects Maresca's ability to handle the immense pressure that comes with succeeding a manager of Guardiola's stature, as well as his success in quickly implementing his tactical ideas with the players.
