Mohamed Salah's visit to Türkiye... Ibrahim Hassan explains

Ibrahim Hassan, the director of the Egyptian national football team, denied that the coaching staff had received an official invitation from Turkish club Trabzonspor to visit Mohamed Salah, the team captain, and check on his well-being. However, he confirmed his openness to such a visit should the opportunity arise, indicating that it could help bridge any differences. Hassan explained that he had seen the reports circulating about the visit, but that it remained merely media speculation, and the coaching staff had not received any official notification. He added that visiting Salah was not the only option, emphasizing his readiness to visit Omar Marmoush in England or any other Egyptian professional player abroad, as part of the coaching staff's commitment to maintaining contact with and supporting the national team players. The Egyptian national team director stressed that the relationship with the players is based on mutual support, stating that the coaching staff stands by all members of the team, in an attempt to dispel recent rumors of disagreements between Hossam Hassan and Mohamed Salah. Media reports in recent days had suggested a possible tension between the captain and his coach following events at the last international training camp. Salah left the national team camp after the draw with Angola in the opening qualifiers and also missed the match against South Sudan, reportedly due to his reservations about playing on an artificial pitch. He then missed the friendly against South Africa as well. Some reports linked these developments to the player's anger at being substituted early in a match, along with statements attributed to Hossam Hassan, but there has been no official confirmation clarifying the nature of the relationship between the two. Salah is expected to join the Egyptian national team camp during the international break in November, amidst efforts to contain any potential conflict and ensure a positive atmosphere before the upcoming matches.
