Saudi fans break their own record at the Gulf Cup

The Saudi Arabian national football team set a historic attendance record during their match against Qatar in the semi-finals of the Arabian Gulf Cup (Gulf Cup 27). The Gulf summit witnessed a massive turnout at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah, as large numbers of fans flocked to support the "Green Falcons" in this crucial encounter. According to the official Saudi national team website, the match saw the highest attendance in the team's history of home matches in the tournament, with the number of fans exceeding 51,000. Official screens inside Al-Inma Stadium displayed the attendance figure of over 51,000, with Saudi fans clearly dominating and supporting their team throughout the match. The Saudi Arabia-Qatar match broke the previous attendance record for this edition of the tournament, which was set during the group stage. The Saudi Arabia-Iraq match, held in the third and final round of Group A, also drew over 41,000 fans to Al-Inma Stadium. But the semi-final summit between Saudi Arabia and Qatar far exceeded this number, recording a record audience attendance and confirming the great interest of Saudi fans in supporting their national team in its journey in the “Gulf Cup 27”.
