Yamal makes history against England

Spaniard Lamine Yamal continued to make history, becoming the youngest player ever to score against England at Wembley Stadium in an official match, during the UEFA Nations League. Yamal achieved this historic feat at the age of 19 years and 75 days, breaking a record that had stood for nearly 30 years, according to Opta statistics. The previous record was held by Dutchman Patrick Kluivert, former Barcelona striker and one of the most prominent stars of Dutch football, after he scored against the English national team at the age of 19 years and 353 days, during the 1996 European Championship. Thus, Yamal surpassed Kluivert by a wide margin, adding a new achievement to his record full of records despite his young age.
