Kane joins Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic on a historic list
England star Harry Kane has etched his name in European football history, becoming only the fifth player to score 100 or more goals in two of Europe's top five leagues, after reaching his 100th Bundesliga goal for Bayern Munich . The English striker achieved this milestone in just 98 Bundesliga appearances, reaffirming his exceptional scoring prowess since joining Bayern, having previously netted 213 Premier League goals in 320 matches for Tottenham . Kane also became the second-fastest player in history to reach 100 goals in a second major European league, joining an elite group of only five players to have achieved this feat, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani, and Gonzalo Higuain . Kane commented on his achievement, saying: "I'm very proud to have reached 100 goals in the Bundesliga. I've done it before in the Premier League, so to do it in a different league is something I'm very proud of, and all I can say is a huge thank you to the team." Cristiano Ronaldo tops this list in terms of speed in reaching 100 goals in a second league, having needed only 94 matches to achieve this milestone with Real Madrid in La Liga after his move to the club in 2009. Ronaldo finished his La Liga career with 311 goals across nine seasons with Real Madrid. He also scored 103 goals in the English Premier League during his two spells with Manchester United, and 81 goals in Serie A during three seasons with Juventus . Zlatan Ibrahimovic, on the other hand, scored 113 goals in 122 Ligue 1 matches with Paris Saint-Germain, in addition to 156 goals in Serie A for Juventus, Inter Milan, and AC Milan . The Swedish striker never reached 100 goals in either La Liga or the English Premier League, scoring only 16 goals for Barcelona in La Liga . Also on the list is Edinson Cavani, who scored 138 goals in Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain, while also netting 112 goals in Serie A during his time with Palermo and Napoli . Gonzalo Higuain is another of the five players with this achievement, having scored 107 goals in La Liga with Real Madrid, followed by 125 goals in Serie A during his spells with Napoli, Juventus, and AC Milan .
