Haaland makes history with Manchester City

Norwegian striker Erling Haaland made history for Manchester City by scoring in their thrilling 5-3 victory over Sunderland in the Premier League. Haaland found the net in the 81st minute, after the goal was initially ruled out for offside before VAR confirmed it. This goal completed Haaland's impressive Premier League record, as it was his first against Sunderland, meaning he has now scored against all 25 clubs he has faced in the competition for Manchester City. Sunderland was the only team against whom Haaland had failed to score, having missed both matches against them last season. The Norwegian striker now has 117 Premier League goals and five so far this season, putting him top of the scoring charts, one goal ahead of Liverpool's Alexander Isak. Haaland was not the only one to achieve success in the match, as Brian Brobbey scored a hat-trick for Sunderland, becoming the first player to score a hat-trick against Manchester City in the English Premier League since Jamie Vardy, but his team ultimately lost.
