Tottenham record their worst goal-scoring start in their history

Tottenham Hotspur's disastrous start to the season continued as they made history in an unprecedentedly negative fashion, drawing 0-0 with Everton in the fourth round of the Premier League. For the first time in the club's history, Tottenham failed to score in their opening four matches of a single season, a statistic that reflects the extent of the team's attacking crisis. The negative statistics didn't end there, as Tottenham recorded their first-ever goalless draw in a Premier League match at their new stadium, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This is also the first time since September 2017 that a Tottenham home Premier League match has ended without a goal, when they drew 0-0 with Swansea City. This start raises serious questions about the team's ability to rediscover their attacking prowess, especially as the inability to score has become a recurring theme for Spurs.
