Mostafa Mohamed triumphs over Salah in the Turkish League

Trabzonspor suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Konyaspor in the seventh round of the Turkish Super Lig, leaving them with seven points and dropping them to sixth place. The loss further distanced Mohamed Salah's team from the title race, as they had hoped to secure three points against the bottom-placed side and close the gap with league leaders Besiktas to just two points. Konyaspor sealed the victory early, with Raymond Toth scoring the winning goal just two minutes after kickoff, and the home side maintained their lead until the final whistle despite Trabzonspor's efforts to get back into the game. Mohamed Salah played the full 90 minutes but failed to find the net, missing a close-range chance just before halftime, leaving his tally at four goals in the competition. On the other side, Mostafa Mohamed came on in the 82nd minute, playing the final minutes but unable to score his first league goal of the season. Konyaspor's win lifted them to 16th place with three points, but they remain in the relegation zone, while Besiktas continued to lead the table with 12 points.
