Paris makes history in the Ballon d'Or
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) set a historic record in the 2026 Ballon d'Or race, becoming the first club to have 10 players nominated for the prestigious award. France Football magazine, in collaboration with UEFA, revealed the final shortlist for the world's best player award. PSG's nominees include Ousmane Dembélé, Achraf Hakimi, Khvisha Kvaratskhelia, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, João Neves, Willian Bathcho, Fabián Ruiz, Vitinha, and Ferran Torres. The Parisian club surpassed its previous record of nine nominees in last year's edition, which was won by Ousmane Dembélé. This achievement follows an exceptional season for PSG, during which they won the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and Ligue 1. The winner of the Ballon d'Or will be announced at a ceremony in London on October 26.
