Haaland is Harry Kane's successor at Bayern

Bayern Munich are planning to secure the future of their attack by targeting Norwegian striker Erling Haaland as a potential successor to Harry Kane after the England international's time with the Bavarian club comes to an end. According to the German newspaper Bild, Bayern have placed Haaland among their top future targets, with the possibility of making a move for him in two or three years, coinciding with Kane's advancing age and the approaching end of his time at the club. Bayern's interest in Haaland is not new; club officials met with the Norwegian striker in 2012 when he was playing for Borussia Dortmund, before he ultimately decided to join Manchester City. Bayern's chances of completing such a high-profile transfer have been boosted by their improved financial situation, following businessman Max Wissmann's agreement to purchase a 5% stake in the club for €250 million, a deal that raises Bayern's market value to approximately €5 billion. This acquisition provides the Bavarian club with additional funds that can be invested in future major signings, making the dream of signing Haaland more attainable, especially if Bayern decide to pursue a world-class striker to replace Kane.
