Besiktas makes a new offer to sign Mohamed Salah

Turkish club Besiktas has intensified its negotiations with Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, the former Liverpool star, in an effort to sign him during the current summer transfer window. They have submitted a new financial offer to persuade the player to join their ranks on a free transfer . The Turkish newspaper Sabah reported that Besiktas has increased its offer to €20 million, including salary, bonuses, and incentives. The newspaper indicated that the player will decide whether to accept or reject the offer on Monday evening . Sabah added that Salah's agent, Ramy Abbas, recently reduced his commission request from €7.5 million to €5 million in an effort to facilitate negotiations between the two parties . The 34-year-old Salah is attracting interest from several clubs this summer, with links to moves to the Saudi and American leagues, in addition to Besiktas's interest in acquiring his services . Salah brought his Liverpool career to a close at the end of last season, after nine illustrious seasons during which he won every major trophy with the English club, in addition to achieving numerous individual accolades . On the international stage, the Egyptian captain recently participated in the 2016 World Cup, helping the Pharaohs reach the Round of 16 for the first time in their history, and becoming Egypt's all-time leading scorer in World Cup finals with three goals.
