The secret of Ronaldo's absence from Man Utd squad ahead of Manchester derby 

Press reports revealed the secret of the absence of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo from the list of his Manchester United team, which is preparing to face its neighbor Manchester City this evening, Sunday, at “Al Ittihad” stadium, in the top of the matches of the twenty-eighth round of the English Premier League “Premier League” for the current season 2021-2022.
According to the English newspaper "The Athletic", the Portuguese star will miss Manchester United in the derby, due to injury, and not a technical decision by German coach Ralph Rangnick. 
The list of United's absence from the City match also includes Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani, French defender Raphael Varane and left back Luke Shaw.

Manchester City leads Premier League table, with 66 points, six points behind second-placed Liverpool, and Manchester United is fourth with 47 points.
