UK reports suggest Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick’s tense relationship has become fractured as the forward believes the manager is out of his depth, due to the significant decline in the Portuguese star's scoring level during the recent period. The disappointing results continue as United look to be throwing away chances to clinch a top four spot. The Manchester Evening News team reported that the relationship between coach Rangnick and the star of the team, Ronaldo, had collapsed dramatically recently, as the coach threw arrows of criticism at the striker because he should score more goals. The UK outlets claims Rangnick do not have the support of the squad’s ‘leading heavyweights’, one is being Ronaldo, which is extremely disappointing if true. Manchester Evening News  pointed out that Rangnick is not convinced and has reservations about owning the Portuguese star’s stay next season, especially after his position has turned into an administrative position in the club, and he will have a technical opinion about the players staying and leaving the team with the new coach.
The outlet indicated that Ronaldo wants challenges that allow him to compete to win the Champions League, especially since at United; it seems like a fantasy at the moment. This situation will make the Portuguese star search for a a new destination in this summer if the Red Devils fail to qualify for the European Champions League next season.
