Sergio Ramos offered USA escape from PSG nightmare after miserable first season

French press reports revealed that veteran Spanish defender Sergio Ramos of PSG may leave PSG at the end of this season towards a major league club, after spending most of the current season suffering from injury.Ramos, 35-years -old, joined PSG on a free deal last summer, after the end of his contract with his former club, Real Madrid.
The French website FootMercato said Los Angeles Galaxy are reportedly interested in offering Sergio Ramos a Paris Saint-Germain escape route as the Spanish international continues to struggle in France.Ramos joined PSG over the summer after more than a decade with Real Madrid, but injuries have restricted him to just a five appearances for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
The 35-year-old had to wait until November to make his debut for the Ligue 1 side after struggling with a calf problem at the start of the season, with former France defender Alain Roche describing Ramos as a "failed bet".
The Spanish defender participated with the Parisian team in only five matches, during the current season, and completed 90 minutes only twice, due to the many injuries he suffered with the team.
MLS clubs are allowed a maximum of three 'Designated Players (DPs),' who can earn money outside the league's salary cap.
