Macron celebrates PSG's European triumph

French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated Paris Saint-Germain on winning the Champions League title for the second consecutive season. The French team secured the victory after a thrilling match against Arsenal, which ended 1-1 after extra time, before PSG clinched the title 4-3 on penalties in Budapest, Hungary. Macron expressed his pride in the achievement in a message posted on the X platform, emphasizing that the Parisian team had continued to make continental history and added another achievement to French football, praising their performance throughout the tournament. The French president is expected to receive the PSG delegation upon their return to France for a special ceremony to honor the players and coaching staff, similar to the reception they received after their European triumph last season.
