Mbappe crowned top scorer of the Champions League

French star Kylian Mbappé was crowned top scorer in the UEFA Champions League after netting 15 goals during his campaign with Real Madrid, despite his team's elimination in the quarter-finals against Bayern Munich. Mbappé's triumph came after a fierce competition with England striker Harry Kane, who finished second, just one goal behind, in a battle that lasted until the final stages of the tournament. This is Mbappé's second Champions League top scorer award, having previously won it with Paris Saint-Germain, when he shared the lead with Kane, both scoring eight goals. This time, however, he secured the title outright. This achievement reflects the continued brilliance of the French national team captain on the European stage and cements his status as one of the most prominent goalscorers in world football in recent years.
