Mohamed Salah becomes 10th player to hit 150 goals for Liverpool FC

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah expressed his pride after scoring his 150th goal for the club in a 3-1 comeback win over Norwich which maintained the momentum in their title challenge in the twenty-sixth round of the English Premier League, after he scored the second goals of the Reds from a great individual effort.
The Egyptian Salah became the second-fastest player in Liverpool's history to bring up the milestone, as he scored the second goal for the Reds in what was his 233rd appearance for the club.
The Egypt forward became only the 10th man to reach 150 goals in the club’s history and the second fastest (232 matches) after Roger Hunt (226). Mohamed Salah’s goal came against Norwich City in the 68th minute of the match, after receiving an assist from the Brazilian goalkeeper Alison. The net, which is his 150th goal in the Reds shirt in 233 matches in all competitions.
January signing Luis Diaz scored his maiden goal in his fourth appearance to wrap up the win but it was Salah who received the plaudits as Liverpool made it eight successive victories in all competitions to keep the heat up on Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Despite the quality of Liverpool’s three goals, which all came in the final 26 minutes, it was far from plain sailing for Klopp’s side and for a while it looked like their hopeful pursuit of City was about to founder.
The “Opta” network, which specializes in monitoring statistics, stated that Mohamed Salah became the second fastest player to reach 150 goals with Liverpool, after Roger Hunt, who scored them in 226 matches.
Gordon Hudson is third with 242 games, followed by Ian Rush with 249 games and Robbie Fowler with 267 games.
Mohamed Salah is also the tenth player in the history of the Reds to reach 150 goals, after Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, Gordon Hudson, Billy Liddell, Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler, Kenny Dalglish, Michael Owen and Harry Chambers.
