Marca newspaper launches a scathing attack on Perez!

The Spanish newspaper Marca launched a scathing attack on Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez amid the ongoing debate surrounding his future at the club and the growing questions about who will succeed him when his current term ends . According to the newspaper, Pérez is currently considering the issue of his succession more than ever before, while emphasizing that Real Madrid is not a personal property but an institution whose members choose their next president through democratic elections . Reports indicate that Pérez is preparing Anas El Ghazi as one of the options being considered, but the newspaper believes he is not the ideal choice to lead the club in the coming period . In its criticism, Marca highlighted several issues it described as "failures" in recent years, including the European Super League project, which faced widespread criticism and dragged on for years before losing momentum, as well as the cost of renovating the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, which tripled the initial estimates, coupled with restrictions on organizing events and declining revenues . The newspaper also pointed to the stalled stadium parking project, as well as what it considered a flaw in revenue distribution, where slightly more than half of the club's income is allocated to the first team, while between 35% and 40% goes to operating costs . Marca also addressed the injury to French star Kylian Mbappé, considering it one of the controversial issues that have recently plagued the club's management . The newspaper concluded its report by emphasizing that Pérez is going through a critical period, indicating that his future may be tied to winning the Spanish league title or the Champions League, given the mounting pressure on him from all sides.
