Man City enter the race to sign Newcastle star

Manchester City are preparing a major move in the upcoming summer transfer window, planning a tempting offer that includes a cash sum and several players to secure the services of Newcastle United's Italian midfielder, Sandro Tonali. According to press reports, City are looking to bolster their midfield given the uncertainty surrounding Rodri's future, whose contract is nearing its end and who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. Therefore, the English club's management sees Tonali as an ideal replacement for any potential departure. As part of the potential deal, the club is considering including several players in the offer, such as goalkeeper James Trafford, as well as Rico Lewis and Issa Kaboré, to reduce the required transfer fee. Newcastle, for their part, are determined to retain their player and may demand around £100 million to allow his departure, especially since he is a key pillar of manager Eddie Howe's squad. Interest in Tonali is not limited to Manchester City, as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are also closely monitoring the player's situation, suggesting a fierce battle for his signature in the upcoming transfer window.
