Xavi sets Barcelona targets for the current season and supports Messi

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez confirmed that they are excited to face Napoli, Italy, on Thursday evening, at the Camp Nou, in the European League, stressing that this tournament is different from the Champions League.
Xavi spoke at the match's press conference, saying: "Our current goal is to enter the Champions League next season, and we have two ways to occupy one of the first four places in the Spanish League or to win the European League."
Barcelona coach Xavi admits he could rotate his team against Napoli tomorrow, although the match against the Partenopei ‘could be played in the Champions League.’
The Catalans are preparing to host Luciano Spalletti’s side at the Nou Camp in the first leg of the Europa League knockout round playoffs tomorrow.
“Criticism is normal in a team like Barcelona, they helped me improve as a footballer,” Xavi said at a press conference.
“We don’t have a fixed line-up. Every player is useful, everyone has been playing consistently—almost everyone. Eric and Busquets are two crucial players, but tomorrow could be a good day to rest Busquets, or maybe on Sunday. It’s evident that he can’t play every game. We’ll make changes, but we’ll try to be competitive.
“We have many options up front and it’s very good for me as a coach,” Xavi continued, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.
“Napoli is at a Champions League level, this fixture could have been played in the Champions, they are an excellent team. They are without important players such as Matteo Politano and Hirving Lozano who is a great footballer.”
Barcelona eliminated from Champions’ League group stage for first time in 21 years, after occupying third place in Group E behind Bayern Munich and Benfica of Portugal.
