An outstanding record for Salah against Inter Milan

Mohamed Salah is returning to face Inter at the San Siro for the first time since 2017 this week and he’s ready to find the back of the net there again.

The Egyptian forward spent two-and-a-half years in Serie A earlier in his career, spending six months with Fiorentina on loan from Chelsea before spending two years in the capital with Roma. During those 30 months in Italy, he faced the Nerazzurri five times.

Salah has beaten Inter three times in his career, drawing once and losing once. He found the back of the net in Fiorentina’s 1-0 win over the Nerazzurri at the San Siro back in March 2015, guiding them to an important win, and now he has the chance to repeat that feat again on Wednesday.

Inter host Liverpool for the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16, a tough test for coach Simone Inzaghi and his squad. The return leg will come on March 8 at Anfield.
