Barcelona surpasses the giants of Europe

Barcelona reclaimed the top spot in La Liga after capitalizing on Real Madrid's 2-1 defeat to Osasuna on Saturday. The Catalan giants then secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Levante on Sunday, moving one point clear of second-placed Los Blancos . Despite suffering two consecutive away defeats before the Levante match, Hansi Flick's side boasts a remarkable statistic unmatched by any other team in Europe's top leagues: they have yet to concede a second-half goal in their home league fixtures. Barcelona have conceded just five goals in their La Liga home games, all in the first half, highlighting their defensive solidity and dominance in the second half . Following Barcelona in this statistic is Paris Saint-Germain, who have conceded only two goals in the second half at home in Ligue 1. Six other teams have conceded three goals in the second half at home: Freiburg, Real Betis, Atlético Madrid, Lens, Le Havre, and Brest, according to Opta data. These achievements underscore Barcelona's strength at their home ground, Camp Nou, where they have remained undefeated since Hansi Flick's return last November. They also highlight their defensive prowess compared to other top European teams, bolstering their chances of maintaining their lead in La Liga and competing strongly for the title this season.
