Major League Soccer clears Messi... Why?

Major League Soccer (MLS) cleared Argentine star Lionel Messi of any wrongdoing after reviewing video footage of the incident following his team Inter Miami's 3-0 loss to Los Angeles FC in the season opener. The league confirmed that the area Messi entered was not the referees' room and was not a restricted area, thus no rules were violated. The video showed Inter Miami's Luis Suarez attempting to block Messi, but he continued walking through a corridor inside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum before reappearing moments later. A spokesperson stated that any restricted areas on the field are clearly marked, and the Argentine star did not cross any of them. It's worth noting that the match was attended by 75,673 spectators, the highest attendance in the history of the MLS opening weekend.
