A disastrous number for Mohamed Salah!

For the first time in his career, Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has failed to score in nine consecutive Premier League matches, a new negative record for the Egyptian star. This milestone was reached during Liverpool's hard-fought 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday evening, in the 27th round of the 2025-2026 Premier League season. Salah's negative run comes amidst a strong performance from the team, who avenged their 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at Anfield earlier in the season. The first half ended goalless before Alexis Mac Allister scored the winning goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time, securing three valuable points for the Reds . With this victory, Liverpool climbed to sixth place with 45 points, correcting their course after a series of inconsistent results. Nottingham Forest remains in 17th place with 27 points .
