Arteta: We finished the Wigan game in one half

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised his team's performance after their emphatic 4-0 victory over Wigan in the FA Cup fifth round . Speaking to the BBC, Arteta said , " We started the game brilliantly. We made a number of changes because some players needed playing time and deserved it. I'm very pleased with the way we started the game, the intensity we showed, the understanding between the players, and the threat we posed. The first half was crucial, without a doubt." He added, "We also tried some different things because some players were missing, and I'm very happy with the players who did a fantastic job." Arsenal effectively sealed the win within the first 30 minutes, scoring four unanswered goals against the Championship side.
