Harry Kane tops the Bundesliga scoring charts

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane continues his impressive form in the Bundesliga, topping the scoring charts after 20 rounds of matches in the 2025-2026 season. The English star appears poised to achieve a historic milestone by winning the top scorer award for the third consecutive time. Kane has scored 22 goals in 20 appearances so far, continuing his impressive run after netting 26 goals last season and 36 in his debut season with the Bavarian giants. This brings his total to 82 goals in 79 Bundesliga matches to date. Kane is the favorite to break the record held by former Bayern and Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski, who scored 41 goals in the 2020/21 season. Lewandowski is also the only player to have won the Bundesliga top scorer award three times in a row. Kane started 2026 strongly, scoring three goals in his first five matches of the new year, including one in the 2-2 draw against Hamburg in matchday 20. He also scored in Bayern's 4-0 win over Heidenheim before the winter break . Meanwhile, Stuttgart striker Deniz Ondav impressed despite a difficult start, missing four of the first six matches due to a knee ligament injury. Ondav has managed 11 goals in 16 appearances, placing him second in the top scorers' list. Bayern Munich's Michael Ulis continued his impressive form, scoring 10 goals in 20 matches and directly contributing to 27 goals in his second Bundesliga season. Haris Tapakovic, the Borussia Mönchengladbach striker, has scored 10 goals in 19 matches, while Bayern Munich's Luis Diaz has also netted 10 goals in 19 appearances. Diaz scored seven goals in his first 13 matches since joining from Liverpool last summer, including a stunning strike against Union Berlin, and the decisive goal in Bayern's 8-1 victory over Wolfsburg . At Borussia Dortmund, Serhou Guirassy has scored eight goals in 19 matches. He started strongly with four goals in his first three games but struggled to find the net later on. However, he returned to form in matchday 20 against Heidenheim, scoring twice despite missing a penalty, thus returning to the Bundesliga scoring charts and maintaining his status as one of the season's top strikers.
