Ronaldo backs down and returns to Al-Nassr training

Al-Nassr's training session on Wednesday evening saw the return of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo after a short absence, as part of intensive preparations for their match against Al-Ittihad in the 21st round of the Saudi Professional League . Ronaldo recently missed Al-Nassr's training sessions and the previous round's match against Al-Riyadh, which ended in a 1-0 victory for the team, amid speculation about the player's dissatisfaction with the team's winter transfer activity. According to the Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat, with his return, he appears ready to participate in the highly anticipated match on Friday . Ronaldo's presence is a morale boost for the team before the top-of-the-table clash, as Al-Nassr aims to continue its pursuit of league leaders Al-Hilal, who are just one point ahead, while Al-Ittihad currently sits in sixth place with 34 points. Ronaldo continues to establish himself as a key attacking player, having scored 18 goals and provided 3 assists in 22 matches across all competitions this season, totaling 1917 minutes of playing time .
