Salah achieves two historic Premier League milestones

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah achieved two historic milestones in the English Premier League during the Reds' resounding 4-1 victory over Newcastle United at Anfield on Saturday evening, in the 24th round of the Premier League. According to the English network Opta, Salah became the first player in Premier League history to both score and assist more than 10 goals against the same opponent. This achievement brings Salah's total goal contributions against Newcastle to 20, having scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists in 19 Premier League appearances against them, further cementing his place in the competition's history. Opta also confirmed that Salah achieved another milestone during the match, becoming the Egyptian player with the most direct goal contributions at a single stadium in Premier League history. Mohamed Salah set a record after contributing to 152 goals at Anfield while wearing the Liverpool jersey, topping the list of players in this ranking, ahead of Frenchman Thierry Henry who contributed to 151 goals with Arsenal at Highbury, as well as Wayne Rooney who achieved the same number with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
