Not Haaland... Barcelona fans choose a replacement for Lewandowski
The Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo revealed the results of a poll conducted among Barcelona club members regarding their preferred signing during the upcoming summer transfer window. The most prominent name emerged clearly: Julián Álvarez. Nearly 300 club members participated in the poll, with the majority choosing the Atlético Madrid striker as the ideal signing to bolster the Catalan team's ranks before the start of the new season. This trend comes as Robert Lewandowski's contract nears its end on June 30th, coupled with his advancing age (he will turn 37), prompting fans to seriously consider the future of the team's attack. Álvarez, who will turn 26 at the end of January, garnered 31.33% of the votes, topping the list by a significant margin, ahead of Erling Haaland, who came in second with 26%. Marc Cucurella finished third. The poll reflects Barcelona fans' desire to sign a decisive and dynamic striker capable of leading the team's attack in the coming years.
