Jeddah to host the AFC Champions League finals

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced on Tuesday that King Abdullah Sports City Stadium and Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, have been selected as the official venues for the 2026 AFC Champions League Finals.

 The tournament will be held from April 16 to 25, 2026, bringing together the best Asian clubs in decisive and exciting competition.
The final stage will feature eight clubs that qualified after passing through the preliminary rounds and the group stage semi-finals. All matches in this stage will be played as single-elimination games, adding an element of suspense and excitement to every match.

The competition kicks off with the quarter-final matches from April 16 to 18, followed by the semi-finals on April 20 and 21. The tournament will conclude with the final on April 25, which will determine the winner of the next edition of the AFC Champions League.
The selection of Jeddah to host the finals is considered a significant step for sports in Saudi Arabia, as the city boasts advanced infrastructure and world-class stadiums.
